NutriGov is my final year design project that proposed a speculative solution to food poverty in the United Kingdom. The program allows citizens of the UK to get their food through a meal kit delivery service where users choose their food for the week for their households. Through the website, citizens choose their meals, snacks, and even their children's school meals for the week ahead. This speculative concept asks people to think about a solution that removes the core issues people in food poverty are facing; no accessibility to food, food insecurity, poor self-esteem, and a negative childhood experience. However, it proposed a lack of choice and autonomy that is core to individuality and idenitity.
